Predators Rinne Out Of All Star Weekend After Knee Injury

Rinne will be re-evaluated after the All-Star break. 

The injury occurred less than three minutes into the third period of Nashville’s 5-1 home win over the Canucks. Carter Hutton finished the game and made 10 saves.

Rinne is 29-6-2 on the season with a 1.96 GAA for the Predators.

Rinne’s injury, paired with Red Wings goalie Jimmy Howard’s groin injury that landed him on injured reserve Sunday, opened the door for Penguins goalie Marc-Andre Fleury and Islanders goaltender Jaroslav Halak to be added to All-Star weekend.
