In the official U-Treasure Japanese site, fans will be able to order the custom Kirby necklaces starting April 8, 2022. According to the press release, the Kirby “Free Writing Pendant” was produced in commemoration of Kirby’s 30th anniversary happening this 2022. In terms of personalization, customers can choose between four different fonts and add up to eight alphanumeric characters for the custom text. What’s more, fans can choose between 41 Kirby-themed “marks” which include different poses and outfits for Kirby, iconic Kirby items, and cute side characters like the Waddle Dees, the Meta Knight, and even King Dedede.

Fans will have to shell out 30,800 yen or around $248 USD in order to place an order for the necklace. Customers can choose between 18K rose gold, yellow gold, or white gold as material for the jewelry. According to the site, shipping times will vary depending on the order. To purchase the necklaces, fans in Japan can visit the U-Treasure concept store in Ikebukuro. However, global fans can also place their orders via the official U-Treasure site, which ships to locations worldwide. This option is quite refreshing as many Kirby-themed items and exclusive locations like the Kirby Cafe can only be found in Japan.

For hardcore Kirby fans, the price of the custom necklaces looks quite affordable, given the choice of materials to be used for production and the option of personalization. It is also a great way to elegantly show off one’s Kirby fandom, without the item being too blatant or obvious.
